Case Study - Guardian Angel Carers
Guardian Angels moved into a new training room. It was in a listed building with beams and no coving line between ceilings and walls. The challenge was to decorate it in a modern and interesting way.
We used vinyl for the straight wording so it looked painted on. Vinyl is a better medium for block colour lettering but it has the disadvantage that it cannot be moved and re-used. It is an easier product to cut around the window frames. You can do this with FabriStick® but if it is manually cut (rather than machine cut) there is a greater risk of fray.
We used FabriStick® for the client quotations. This allowed us to work from the sloping ceiling onto the flat wall, therefore making a feature of the boundary between wall and ceiling.
By adding a drop shadow to the FabriStick® artwork as well as a border, we negated the problem of colour matching to the walls. The effect is almost 3d and is very popular with the client.
