When our local food bank approached us for a solution to a problem, we were delighted to help.
Chichester District Foodbank work closely with many different agencies across the district but were finding that many of their clients did not know the area well enough to find their way from one to another. They too had outlets in hidden parts of the City, which opened at different times.
We came up with the idea of a full wall map of the area - supplied by Ordnance Survey - which was applied just like wallpaper, but with the benefit that it can be removed without damaging their rental walls, and then re-applied in a new location. On top of the full wall decal, it is planned to add the names/logos of the different agencies, as well as opening times. In this way their clients can take photos of the map and keep it for the future without needing to constantly refer back to the foodbank and its volunteer team.
